In forging her connect to Attheabove, Ash Holmes has not merely acquainted herself with the walls, but has created and curated her sophomore solo show with the gallery ‘COULD BE HERE’ with profound intention. within the confines of this space, Holmes navigates a delicate balance—an exploration of in-betweenness. Her creations possess the essence of landscapes yet defy categorisation, embodying the fluidity of abstract expressionism while again, resisting confinement to genre.

Each work within ‘COULD BE HERE’ clearly follows Holmes' mantra of creation without consequence—an ethos that permeates through every stroke, every composition. In their grand scale, these pieces assert their presence, each mark standing boldly in its own voice yet within a stronger choir, within the work.
